Pulled my carpet in the vert for what i thought would be a simple dye job and found this waiting for me in the rear foot wells. As i began grinding away the floor pan s surface rust new holes in the floor kept appearing. Car covers fenders and support parts. I have already removed the tar padding with a heat gun wiped off.

I have opted to do the repair myself except of the welding. Then if it. Clean up the area around the missing body hole in the rear passenger floor and use a professional body panel adhesive to attach it over the round opening. I think the floor pan was a single mould which is why you cant find any also due to the build date i would say your chances of finding a whole floor pan to cut up and use are very very slim why not get some steel plate and make your own just weld it on top of whats there and mastic over the weld and underseal the bottom once your carpets are back in you would nt even know.
